V.1.26 Pompeii. May 2005. Entrance with name plaque DOMUS L CAECILI IUCUNDI.
Many electoral programmes were written on the façade:
[M.] Holconium
Priscum II vir(um)
i(ure) d(icundo)
d(ignum) r(e)
p(ublica) o(ro) v(os)
f(aciatis)
IVCVNDVS ROGAT [CIL IV 3428]
According to Della Corte, this was written to the right of the main entrance doorway at 26.
He also
quotes:
[L.] Ceium Secundum – II vir(um)
Q(VINTVS) S(EXTVS)
CAECILI IVCVNDI ROGAMVS [CIL IV 3433].
Della Corte says the second programme was found on the pilaster to the right of the next shop at number 27.
This shop was part of the same house.
See Della Corte, M., 1965. Case ed Abitanti di Pompei. Napoli: Fausto Fiorentino. (p.18)
According to Cooley, the following was found on the façade of the house:
We, Quintus and Sextus Caecilius Iucundus, ask for Ceius Secundus as duumvir. [CIL IV 3433 = ILS 6404a]
See Cooley, A. and M.G.L., 2004. Pompeii: A Sourcebook. London: Routledge. (F17 on p. 116)

According to Niccolini, two herms were found, one on either side of the tablinum.
The one on the left was taken to the Naples Archaeological Museum, see below.
While the other herm, on the right, which was still in situ, had its head destroyed by later burrowers or diggers, after the eruption.

The upper marble relief shows scenes of the earthquake of AD62 possibly in Porta Vesuvio area.
Does it show : the castellum aquae? the collapsed Porta Vesuvio? city walls? a flattened two horse cart/chariot? an altar with offerings and a wreath above? and a tree?
The lower marble relief shows scenes of the earthquake of AD62 possibly in the Forum.

The
upper marble relief which was stolen in 1975.
It was discovered in 2023 in a residential house in Belgium. It had been sold to a Belgian family as a souvenir whilst they were on holiday in 1975.
It was displayed set in the wall above the stairs to the basement of their house for over 50 years.
Following an investigation by Belgian Judicial police, and a visit
by a delegation from Pompeii to confirm it is the original marble relief, it is
hoped it will return to Pompeii.
